Not sure if you know this about me, but I am one of the most clumsy people I have ever met. It’s odd, considering I figure skate and do ballet (and am actually okay at them), but it’s the simplest of things that cause my stupid little injuries. So, without further ado, I give you a list of my most recent clumsy moments.
1) About a week ago, I was shopping with my sister and tripped on the corner of a rack knocking down at least 10 pairs of socks.
2) On Sunday morning, walking up the stairs, I lost my balance and fell. Usually, this is just a normal trip and get up, but I tried to stop myself with my arm (stupid mistake) and my arm got caught on the banister. It was scraped and bleeding and there is a huge bruise now. Hurray!
3) Yesterday I was putting away clean dishes and dropped a knife on my foot. It landed tip down, so its s pretty small cut. The funny thing is, I’ve done this before and the cut from this time is only about an inch away from the scar from last time. I don’t think I will be allowed to touch the silverware ever again.
4) I was at the library just this morning and smiled at the nice librarian who works in the Young Adult section as I was leaving and this distracted me and I tripped and dropped 3 books (all hardcover, of course) down the stairs (which were metal, of course). So that was loud AND I almost fell down the stairs. Not to mention this all happened in front of a guy who I had a rather awkward attempt at flirting with a couple weeks ago, but that’s a story for another time.
See you next week!
